Job Description
Education and Formal Training
Must have graduated from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Must maintain CPR certification. If not certified prior to employment, employer will certify as part of orientation.
Experience Required:
One year of x-ray experience preferred
Previous office experience preferred
Licensure Required:
Must have a valid, current certificate by the State of Indiana as a General Radiographer.
Indiana Drivers License
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature
extremes. Some exposure to wind, rain and snow when driving between Kosciusko
Community Hospital owned buildings.
Other:
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age to the age of the
patient (infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) served on assigned unit/department,
Must be available to work flexible hours.
Full range of motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and bending required for extended period of time.
Requires visual acuity and normal color perception.
Must have reliable transportation.
