AlliedTravelCareers is working with AMN Healthcare Allied to find a qualified Rad Tech in NORMAL, Illinois, 61761!Pay Information$2,048 to $2,360 per weekAbout The PositionJob Description & RequirementsCertified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)StartDate: 12/9/2024Available Shifts: 8 EPay Rate: $2048.34 - $2360.05Rad Tech needed asapM-F: 230pm-11pmThe Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic general radiological procedures utilizing various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries.Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams in accordance with accreting bodies and/or manufacturer guidelines and as outlined in department protocols.-Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.-Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.-Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment. -Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.Associate's Degree in Related Field OR -Certificate in Radiologic TechnologyRequired Certifications & Licensure:-BLS (American Heart Assoc.)-IEMA Radiography License Illinois-Radiography (R)(ARRT)Required QualificationsCertified Radiology Technologist, RadiologyExperience: 1 yearLicenses: RAD-ILCertifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)On Call: $4SSN RequiredDOB RequiredReferences: 1 Reference in entire work historyAssociate's Degree in Related Field OR -Certificate in Radiologic TechnologyPreferred QualificationsnoneJob BenefitsAllied travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks and offer generous packages that include:
