Description:

We are currently seeking highly motivated engineering students for Engineering Internships for 2025 to work in person (minimum 3 days per week) at 2 of ourNuclearlocations inNew York or at our Cantera headquarters in Illinois.These paid internships will last approximately10 weeksstarting June 3rd throughAugust8th, 2025.Interns will work on specific projects, designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Historically, intern projects have included:

• Cooling Tower Drone Inspections

• Nuclear Core Analysis

• Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump

• Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves

• Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade

• Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater

• HydrogenElectrolyzerProject

Locations:

• GinnaNuclear Power Plant&ndash Ontario, NY

• Nine Mile PointStation Nuclear Power Plant&ndash Oswego, NY

• Cantera Headquarters - Warrenville, IL

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters of Health Physics program for Fall of 2025

• Other majors include Chemistry, Biology, or other Medical field degree

• MinimumGPA:  2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major

• A track recordof outstanding academic performance

• Eagerness to contributeina team-oriented environment

• Ability to workcreativityandanalyticallyin a problem-solving environment

• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
