Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is currently hiring a flexi/PRN Radiation Therapist to be located at the Hahn Cancer Center. Job Description: - Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
- Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
Hours: Job Requirements: - Education: Associate's Level Degree in Radiologic Technology
- License/Certification: New graduates will be required to obtain ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T) within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred: Experience with V Mat, 3D & Sterotactic Procedures. Experience with using ARIA, Varian Trilogy, Varian Tru Ream & Linear Accelerators.
