Base Pay Range:$31.09 - $46.63Job Description:The Radiologic/Fluoro Technologist II is a Full Time, Regular position working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Monday from 8:30pm to 7:00am at Holy Family Imaging Center. This position will be eligible various shift differentials ranging from $2.25-$5.00 per hour additional. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SIGN ON BONUS FOR EXPERIENCED TECHNOLOGISTS!!Summary: Perform General Diagnostic Radiography exams in a Level II Trauma Center or higher. Responsible for obtaining the highest quality radiological exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.   • Performs General Diagnostic Radiography exams.
    • Traumas
    • N.A.T Bone Surveys
    • ER Trauma stretcher patients.
    • ER Psych. Patients with security required.
    • Code PXCR
    • Go to St. Joseph's and do portable x-rays.
    • Lumbar puncture
    • Barium studies
    • Complicated Fluoro exams
    • Intrathecal chemo L.P.
    • Portables in all areas of a Level II Trauma center
  • Surgical C-arm and O-arm
    • C-arm Set Up, Operation, Image transfer, and disinfection process.
    • O-arm Set Up. Operation, Image transfer, and disinfection process.
    • Urodynamics Study
    • Bedside feeding tubes
    • Angio cardiac sinus cine runs.

  • Assists patients as needed to obtain quality exam.
  • Physically maneuver/lift patients to a standing position to perform x-ray exams.
  • Physically maneuver/lift patients to an exam table to perform x-ray exams.
  • Assist patients as needed to obtain quality exam.
    • Physically maneuver/lift (lifting is done with assistance from other staff members) patients to a standing position to perform x-ray exams.
    • Physically maneuver/lift (lifting is done with assistance from other staff members) patients to an exam table to perform x-ray exams .
  • Prepares exam rooms.
  • Maintains clean and stocked exam rooms.
  • Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as needed.
  • Schedules Diagnostic Radiologic exams
  • Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed.
  • Performs General Diagnostic Radiography exams, including Fluoroscopy in OR, Endoscopy, ASC, SMAU, PACU, and other appropriate areas.
    • Assist physician (non-radiologist) with fluoroscopic/C-Arm procedures.
  • Assists patients as needed to obtain quality exam.
    • Physically maneuver/lift (lifting is done with assistance from other staff members, not alone) patients in setting up patient for procedure involving radiographic/fluoroscopic examination.
  • Assist other staff in preparing room for procedure involving use of radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Maintains clean radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as needed.
  • Participates with the training of students in the educational Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Performs diagnostic images.
  • Operate C-Arm in OR, Endoscopy, ASC, Short-Stay, St. Josephs Hospital, SHMC doctors building or where requested.
  • Perform portable x-rays in all areas of the hospital.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all DOH, TJC, Inland Imaging and partnering facilities policies and procedures.

  • Quarterly quality assurance meeting attendance is required for this position.
  • Attendance is a requirement for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • There is no supervisory responsibility in this position.

  • Education:
    • AA Degree preferred or Military Equivalent
    • Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program required
  • Experience: One year experience preferred
    • Anatomy and medical terminology preferred
    • Medical office experience preferred
    • Understanding of radiologic-fluoro procedures to be read by radiologist preferred
  • Licensure: Must maintain current Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure
  • Certifications: Maintain current ARRT (R)
    • Current CPR/BLS required
  • Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook, Workday, Qgenda, I-Site, Internet/Intranet, EPIC and Medicalis
  • Background Check:
    • Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
    • In order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging Clinical Associates, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
