Actively hiring Radiologic Technologist for hospital based in Brooklyn, NY pay rate is $55-60/hr.

Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Rate- $55-60/hr

Schedule Notes: : 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. 5x8hr shifts. Every other weekend. Will be required to work holidays if it falls on their scheduled shift. No 10 or 12 hour shifts.

Contract duration: 3+ months with high possibility of extension.

Job Details

Job Summary:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in acute care facility. Must be able to work independently in these areas' emergency room, Trauma pts Must have OR experience. Portables Peds experience.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms and emergency room.
• Follows operational procedure to identify patient's films with name and x-ray number, correctly mark film as to side of the patient taken.
• Develops exposed x-ray film by processing methods available.
• Completes patient requisitions with technologist initials, date, number, and size of film.
• Maintains orderly x-ray room as directed by the head of the department.

Skills:

Must have OR experience.

Portables

Peds experience

Education:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

-Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.

Certifications & Licenses:

• Must possess New York State License.
