Job Description:
This job description applies to both Doylestown Hospital and Health and Wellness Center. However, tasks may differ based on location. This description reflects the performance of Diagnostic Imaging procedures on inpatients, out patients, emergency room patients and operating room patients, utilizing clinical skills, knowledge and competencies of the Radiologic Technologist. Radiologic Technologists also perform DEXA imaging. Perform other duties deemed necessary to the operation of the radiology department.
- Maintain clinical competency in the Radiology Technologist position requirements
- Provide patient care for all of our customers by performing x-ray procedures as prescribed by a provider in a safe and respectful
- Compile and maintain patient records and schedules while following HIPPA
- Deliver/scan completed paperwork to the radiologist for interpretation and document applicable patient history (10%)
- Ability to use a variety of equipment, including but not limited to Digital Radiography (DR), C-Arm, Computed Radiography (CR), Portable Radiography and PAC's while practicing
- Complete in a timely manner all required education, training and CEU's along with certification
Job Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS :
HS diploma or equivalent, graduate from a JCERT accredited school, ARRT certification
- Experience: Ideally, prior experience and / or training in use of all general radiology equipment, including portables, C-arm units, R&F, teleradiology and PACS systems preferred Registry Eligible candidates will also be considered
- Other Skills: Good communication , customer service skills and computer skills. Current BLS for all technical staff
