Duties: Responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT and MRI machines. Prepare patients for procedures following safety protocols and maintain accurate records. Skills: Knowledge of medical imaging equipment, radiation safety and patient positioning. Strong technical and communication skills are also needed. Education: Current New York State Professional Nurse License. Graduate of a New York State Approved school of nursing. M- F 7a-3p Call Required but Negotiable during interview process Current ARRT (R) Registration to include compliance with CE requirements •NYSDOH Certification for IV Contrast Administration To provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing ionizing radiation. Responsible for the set up and operation of all invasive and non invasive equipment used during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular catheterizations, inclusive of documentation. Performs duties required to provide optimal patient care in the procedure labs.
