Technologist will ensure operability of radiologyequipment and report problems to supervisor. Technologist is responsible for production and qualityof radiographs by following established standards and procedures, observing radiographic resultsand making necessary adjustments while maintaining a safe and clean working environment bycomplying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Technologist will acquire images by properlypreparing patient for radiological procedure, positioning patient and manipulating equipment intospecified position. Technologist will follow the ALARA principles to set exposure factors necessaryto obtain quality images. Technologist will protect patients and employees by adhering to radiationsafety, infection-control policies and protocols and HIPAA compliance policies.   • Minimum Required Experience: 1 year as a staff or student technologist
  • Preferred Experience: 3 years as staff technologist
Education:
  • Minimum Required Education: Successful Completion of JRCERT accredited education program
  • Preferred Education: Associate or Bachelor's in Radiologic Science
•Licenses:
  • Minimum Required Licenses: Kansas State Board of Healing Arts LRT.
•Certifications:
  • Minimum Required Certifications: ARRT (R) certification, BLS
