Performs technical radiographic assignments. Exercises complex skill, judgement and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology. Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested. Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment where needed. Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions. Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Radiology Technology program in AMA approved 2 year program or AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Completion of 24 month course by a recognized AMA approved school in Radiology.
A broad background in all technical areas of Diagnostic Radiology
Preferred:
1-2 years experience in related radiology fields.
SKILLS:

Maintains mandatory CEC-12 per year in Radiology Technology.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
