Find out how you can Make It Possible: In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of: Prep Studies, limited special procedures (Lumbar Punctures/Myelograms) Portable Diagnostic, Routine Diagnostic procedures and limited O.R. procedures. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a per diem position working on an as-needed basis, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Preferred Criteria: - Associates degree
- Previous experience in general Diagnostic Radiology
Required Criteria: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
