Thrust Flight, a fast-growing flight training company in Dennison, Texas, is seeking a ramper. Thrust Flight, established in 2006, is a dynamic company that trains future airline pilots and operates a fleet of over 30 aircraft. Thrust Flight is looking to fill this position with an energetic, motivated candidate interested in a fast-paced environment in Flight Operations.Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Towing aircraft on airport
- Coordinate with flight dispatchers to have aircraft moved in and out of the hangar in preparation for flights
- Wash and clean aircraft interiors/exterior
- Assist with any projects assigned by the Operations manager
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe working conditions for yourself and others
- Report equipment problems and breakdowns to facilitate fast repairs
Desired skills and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as successful completion of a GED (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs regularly
- Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to help achieve team goals
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Position is 3 days a week, $13/ hour.
