Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is preparing to launch Artemis to the Moon, and ARES is looking for talented people to help us get there. The rocket boosters will be delivered to KSC this year and Orion will be accepted shortly thereafter as the Artemis vehicle is built and prepared for launch to send astronauts to the moon. A key function in achieving this success is Range Support. ARES Range Support Engineer will function as a liaison between the EGS Program Operations and Test Management organization and the Space Force Range Operations organization, developing planning documentation and plans for the testing and launch of the Artemis vehicles. Demonstrated experience in providing team/organizational leadership. Familiarity with Spacecraft Launch, Landing, and Recovery operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications: Candidate has experience with the U.S. Space Force/Air Force and has the ability to support the EGS Artemis Program in providing Range liaison services and relevant products in support of the Artemis Missions. Candidate can support full time on-site position at KSC. At this time and for the foreseeable future, the onsite requirement is Tuesday through Thursday, with tele-working approved for Monday and Friday. Education and Relevant Work Experience: Masters of Science in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other physical science. Demonstrated engineering, spacecraft launch operations, or U.S. Air Force/Space Force Range experience. Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.ARES Benefits:
