Direct ReportRange and Target Activities DirectorEmployee Profile and Desired Traits• High level emotional intelligence• Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs• Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition• Dedicated customer service and people oriented• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills• Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customersDuties & Responsibilities• Provide oversite, guidance, and management shooting venues to their highest and best use• Assists director in tasks and responsibilities• Subject matter expert in two or more shooting disciplines• Ensures team maintains all equipment• Knows effects and risk estimate distances for all munitions• Controls movement of small teams in order to provide program and complete range tasks• Ensures range safety procedures are followed• Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work are• Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership• Abide by policies and procedures outlines in the SBR staff handbookQualifications & Training• Required: 21 years of age or older• Required: NRA Certified Instructor (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun/RSO minimum) (Training Provided)• Preferred: 2+ years Summit Employment Experience• Preferred: 2+ years equivalent military/LE experience• Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination• Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results• Develops and maintains team cohesion during the season• Mentors team members in professional development and technical aptitude• Gives constructive feedback for all team membersPhysical Requirements• Long periods of time either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50-70 lbs.• Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements UniformSummit staff uniformHousing10x12' Platform TentFoxtrot Base CampExpected Weekly Hours45 - 60
