The ideal candidate is dependable, people-oriented, adaptable and detail-oriented.We Now Offer Same Day/Next Day Pay!Work Hours: EVERY Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm (40 hours guaranteed pay) Rapid Response Caregiver Pay: $20/ hour (Weekly Pay, Flexible Schedule, Paid-Time-Off, Paid Training) Position Responsibilities Summary:The Rapid Response Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and performs various personal care services called upon to meet the client's needs. The Rapid Response Caregiver is dispatched as needed to a variety of clients due to last-minute cancellations, caregiver warm hand off/training needs, caregiver shadowing, and start of care for new clients. They are responsible for observing clients and reporting/documenting the observations and care performed. The Rapid Response Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a client's care. The Rapid Response Caregiver performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs and serves as the Ambassador of AccuCare.Value-Based Competencies:The Rapid Response Caregiver must consistently demonstrate and foster the following core values behaviors during all interactions with owner, clients, employees, vendors, and other business partners. Core values are the key behaviors that determine our decision-making at AccuCare. Education/Certification Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of FIVE (5) years of documented experience required in the health care industry, preferably in a care facility or one-on-one care.
  • Certified in CPR
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE Reliable Transportation
  • Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record and vehicle that is insured in accordance with state regulations and is in good working order.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Ability to be calm in stressful situations.
  • Self-directed; able to work successfully with little direct supervision; equally able to work successfully as a team member
  • Ability to interact with adverse, and sometimes difficult clients and/or family.
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must be pet friendly
  • Must have a can-do attitude!!
  • Must complete all physical and mental demands, which may include, but not be limited to the following: the ability to transfer clients, carry supplies, stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and speak effectively. Corrected vision and hearing must be within normal range.
  • Must have a professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Travel Requirements:
  • Must be willing and able to travel to locations in West County, St. Charles County, South County areas.
Work Environment:
  • Institutional (hospital, etc.) or Client's Environment: unknown environments under a wide variety of circumstances; bodily fluids, household, and human germs; extreme cold or hot temperatures in or outside; light to heavy traffic; travel required; inclement weather; human body weights that vary based on client health and lifting as prescribed or needed per plan of care (50+ lbs.).
  • Must be able to be around client's animals comfortably. (Dogs, cats, birds, etc.)
