You can expect to be part of a vibrant culture that emphasizes teamwork and professional growth, while embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion for every individual in every community.When you join us, you'll discover personal and professional fulfillment by aligning your career with your values.Hybrid - Remotefrom home for some hours and traveling in and out of institutions for our Re-Entry MAT servicesRe-Entry Specialists are responsible for:Conducts client social, financial, medical and environment status and needs assessment.Works cooperatively with treatment team and various community agencies to obtain resources and services necessary to meet identified needs, and facilitate recovery and effective responses to treatment.Communicates with treatment team, supervisor, probation and parole officers, and agency representatives in order to plan and coordinate services, and relay information on clients' progress.Performs case monitoring, and completes case action forms and documentation.Serves as a resource to treatment staff in identifying and resolving case problems related to meeting client needs, obtaining available services and reducing recidivism.Duties vary by Center assigned.Job Requirements:Advanced communication skills; and demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of public welfare and social services; at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or substance abuse counseling; or equivalent education and life experience, with a minimum of 100 hours documented clinical training in counseling theory and practice.2 years' prior experience in the substance abuse field, with concurrent case management experience preferredAbility to travel in and out of institutions for our Re-Entry MAT services.Current certification or qualification as an alcohol, drug, or substance abuse counselor as required by relevant agency, association, board or commission in State of employment location.Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to encourage and support clients through often difficult phases of recovery; interact effectively with family members; and develop and maintain effective contacts with outside agencies and referral sources or services.Analytical abilities necessary to conduct comprehensive assessments identify client needs and available resources, provide comprehensive case management, and complete progress evaluations and related reports.Typing ability and working knowledge of word processing software in order to complete required forms, reports and correspondence.Valid local driver's license, and at least 21 years of age.Physical Requirements:Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information and provide case management services.Ability to record and proofread information on forms and charts.Ability to respond to telephones calls and hear speech.Ability to use a keyboard and computer monitor to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data on a regular basis.Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely, and remain alert to traffic signs and conditions.Benefits at Gateway Foundation:Health and Wellness:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependentsEmployee wellness program promoting health and fitness and offering cash-saving premiumsEmployee assistance programs focused on mental healthFinancial Wellbeing:403(b) Retirement Plan with 3% employer matchShort-term and Long-term Disability and Life and AD&D Insurance paid for by GatewayFlexible Spending Accounts for medical and dependent carePublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)***1,500 Sign-On Bonus Available***Flexibility and Time Off:18 paid time off days per year - accrual rates increase with years of service9 paid company holidaysWork-life-balancePersonal Development:Training & Development ProgramsTuition Reimbursement - up to $5,250 per calendar yeareLearning access to online courses that provide CEU's and job-related trainingClinical Supervision: Formal and informal guidanceGateway Foundation is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Race/Color/Sex/Sexual Orientation/ Gender Identity/Religion/National Origin/Disability/Vets.
