They have also been on the Fortune 500 list for 25 plus years. The Hiring Manager is a prior Navy Nuke and they hiring for their Millstone Power Station location in Waterford, CT. They currently have two openingsThe Reactor Engineer will perform periodic tests of reactor core design parameters and power distribution limits. Duties include, providing reactivity management guidance to Operations personnel during plant evolutions as well as performing reviews of design change packages and procedure changes for impact to the Reactivity Management Program.The Reactor Engineer also provides engineering oversight of fuel offload and reload and performs zero-power physics testing following refueling outages. - Engineer II candidates will be expected to lead small, cross-functional groups in solving system problems and planning for future equipment reliability, they are expected to be able to work with minimal supervisor direction.- Engineer III candidates will be expected to lead larger, multi-discipline groups in solving system problems and planning for future equipment reliability. They are expected to be able to work independently on assigned tasks. This specific position may lead special projects to improve and sustain equipment reliability.
