Westaff is looking for a 3rd shift Recovery Technician in the Lowell, MA area! Pay Rate: $20+/hour DOE Location: Lowell, Mass Shift: 3:00pm-11:30PM, Monday-Friday Shift: 11:00pm-7:00am, Sunday-Thursday *** MUST train on 1st shift for 6 months mandatory!!! Responsibilities: • Monitor temperatures and flows and takes corrective actions to ensure that the plant is operating safely within documented operating parameters. The boron trichloride recovery system consists of low temperature refrigeration units used to condense unreacted boron trichloride (BCl3) for reuse. • Lead the restart of reactors and the recovery system to ensure plant safely after a power outage • Monitor plant operation during the shift to ensure process and production is operating as required to maintain product volumes and • They will also have a thorough understanding of boron reactor operation and fiber manufacturing as the recovery technician is the lead person within the facility on the off shifts. • Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment Requirements: • US citizen or green card holder • Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Excellent verbal communication skills • Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
