Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Two years of professional administrative experience in budget preparation, financial analysis and/or expenditure monitoring for real estate projects or affordable housing are required. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Experience in the preparation of real estate financial reports and federally funded affordable housing program reporting is highly preferred.
Recruitment Notes
This is advanced technical field and office work in the acquisition of property and leasehold interests in the disposition of excess property for the county. Employees will be responsible in monitoring general Infill and affordable housing developments; will exercise considerable independent judgment, tact and persuasion in negotiating the acquisition of properties and lease agreements; assuring that work in performed in accordance with various departmental, state and Federal requirements.
Pursuant to the authority in Chapter 8B of the Code of Miami-Dade County, when there is a declared state of emergency issued for any portion of Miami-Dade County, all employees of Public Housing and Community Development will be required to adhere to directives from the Mayor or the Mayor's designee to report to work and perform all duties assigned during a declared state of emergency.
