As we expand our portfolio, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Asset Manager to join our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Asset Manager to manage and optimize our real estate assets and build strong relationships with our management companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in asset management, a keen understanding of financial reporting (including P&L analysis), and the ability to create detailed investor reports. This role requires expert-level proficiency in Excel, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Management Companies: Serve as the primary point of contact between Infinite Equity Capital and our third-party property management companies. Ensure effective communication, resolve any issues, and provide oversight on the management of our assets.
- Investor Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive, transparent, and detailed reports for investors. These reports will cover key metrics such as asset performance, financial returns, and strategic actions taken to improve or maintain portfolio performance.
- P&L Analysis: Review and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports. Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to enhance performance.
- Financial Modeling & Excel Expertise: Use advanced Excel skills to create financial models, forecasts, and performance tracking dashboards. Proficiency in pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization is required to manage large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
- Asset Performance Monitoring: Continuously track and assess the performance of assets under management. This includes market trends, revenue performance, and operational efficiencies. Propose adjustments to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
- Data Analysis & Strategic Recommendations: Conduct detailed financial analysis and market research to identify opportunities for asset optimization, cost reductions, and portfolio growth. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze situations from multiple perspectives, and develop practical solutions to optimize asset performance and investor returns.
- Time Management & Organization: Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in asset management, real estate investment, or a related financial field. Experience in managing real estate portfolios and/or commercial properties is preferred.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or real estate-specific designations are a plus.
