Profile

The Real Property Practice Group of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** seeks a transactional real estate associate attorney to assist its team in the Portland office, primarily working with the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience with commercial and/or agricultural real estate transactions, including review of title and survey matters. Candidates should bring experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or equity financing transactions and underlying diligence associated with the transaction. Candidates should also bring experience with (or willingness to learn) drafting and negotiating leases, management agreements, easements, purchase and sale agreements, title objections, and closing documents.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to handle matters independently and a desire to assist our client teams in more complex transactions. Applicants should be comfortable working in a team in a fast-paced environment and bring the ability to handle significant individual responsibilities for more than one supervising attorney. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment. At DWT, client service means having empathy for each client's and each lawyer's work and personal pressures, business objectives, and legal needs; anticipating their needs; and having the capabilities and commitment to deliver what matters most to them.

DWT offers a fast-paced and collegial working atmosphere where associates have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging matters.

To apply, please upload a cover letter addressed to Deverie Hart, Senior Manager, Lawyer Recruiting, along with a resume, a brief (10 pages max) writing sample, and a law school transcript. We would also appreciate you letting us know how you heard about this position - thank you!

We are accepting submissions from third-party recruiters.

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** believes that embracing diversity and inclusion brings out the best of what each individual has to offer and inspires us to build strong and lasting connections with each other, our clients, and our communities.
