Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in real estate, urban planning, finance, business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of multifamily housing finance and contract development.
- Experience with relevant land acquisition, municipal approvals, zoning, and environmental review regulations.
- Experience with financial underwriting, tax credit syndication pricing, commercial lending terms, and rental assistance contracts.
- Experience with LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development, State housing finance agencies or other housing finance entities.
Click HERE to view the full Development Officer job description.This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) position, and the annual salary range is $75,000 - $90,000.Work Location While the Development Officer's work can be done partly from home, the person in this role is expected to work at our main office, located at 307 Cumberland Avenue, Portland, Maine at least 1-2 days per week, and as needed.
