JOB SUMMARY

The Real Estate Manager is essential to the strategic expansion and management of our dispensary and production sites. This role involves leading the market and site selection process, overseeing all phases of real estate transactions, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Reporting to the Senior Director of Real Estate and Property Management, the ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a robust background in site selection and transaction management. They should be adaptable and eager to tackle various ad hoc requests as they arise.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential growth areas for new dispensary locations
• Evaluate and assess potential sites for dispensary locations based on various real estate fundamentals and zoning regulations
• Lead the end-to-end transaction process for new locations, ensuring all activities are executed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Engage and manage relationships with external consultants, brokers, and legal advisors to support real estate activities
• Coordinate with construction and facilities teams to ensure site readiness aligns with operational timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create project deadlines, administer and amend leases, and manage other real estate activity

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or related discipline
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to interface with landlords and 3rd party resources.
• Independent worker with a team player attitude.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills and ability to use mapping tools.
