We are currently seeking candidates for a Real Estate Paralegal at a Real Estate Law Firm, situated in South Shore Massachusetts. For an immediate full-time permanent role (40-hours per week). We are looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience with real estate closings as a paralegal.Yearly salary: $75-85K based on relevant work experienceResponsibilities• Work in conjunction with lenders to prepare loan documents, communicate with clients as transaction thresholds are met; monitoring calendar to ensure deadlines are satisfied• E-Record closing documents, reconcile file disbursements• Review title examinations with firm attorneys• Contact tax collector/assessor offices regarding parcel and tax information• Run UCC and/or order official search from county and/or state• Conduct searches to determine any liens against non-real property collateral• Obtain payoff letters• Obtain missing dischargesQualifications• Bachelor's degree preferred | Paralegals Certificate• 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal at a law firm or in-house legal department• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint• Experience with E-Closing software required• Excellent organizational skills, including file maintenance and billing preparation• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with different people and departments• Must be highly organized and able to manage time extremely well• Must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environmentFor immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates, please send an updated resume in a Word document to Patty at ...@massrealestatelaw.comPlease note: This listing is for a full time position, which we are looking to fill immediately.
