Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, particularly in litigation, and will be capable of handling complex legal issues with minimal supervision. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, along with a deep understanding of real estate transactions and disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including but not limited to, disputes involving commercial and residential properties, landlord-tenant issues, lease disputes, property management conflicts, and construction-related litigation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate transactions and disputes.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Handle all phases of litigation, from inception through trial and appeals, including discovery, depositions, and courtroom appearances.
- Negotiate settlements and work towards favorable resolutions for clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 4+ years of experience in real estate litigation.
