AM Law 200 law firm is looking for an Of Counsel/Partner with experience in real estate transactions. The firm has over 100 attorneys across four states and is seeking an experienced attorney to support its South Florida offices. The candidate does not need to bring their own clients.
Requirements:
- Experience representing the lender/financial institution on real estate transactions through closings
- Keen understanding of the commercial loan/mortgage procedures/processes
- Experience in all issues surrounding real estate purchases, sales, leases, and construction/development, including letters of intent, governmental/land use issues, any/all encumbrances, liens, and/or liabilities
- Strong experience in title policy review
- Strong experience in contracts, contract negotiations
- Knowledge of the commercial real estate market trends
- Ability and desire to interface with lender clients and prospective clients
- JD from an accredited law school; Florida licensure required
