Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for managing the real estate strategy and performance for the assigned portfolio in alignment with IBM's business strategy. This is a high-profile role requiring direct interaction with senior executives across multiple business units and you will work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The Portfolio Manager maintains the primary Real Estate relationship with local client leaders and site location executives (SLEs) and is the single point of contact for the clients to govern and coordinate all real estate-related activities and partners with all real estate functions to enable performance including project management, facility management, lease transaction requests, and/or other resources.
The current portfolio includes California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. This role is based in San Jose, CA.
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are critical to ensure seamless delivery of all real estate services and to ensure a positive workplace experience.

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part-time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
