Career Opportunity as a part-time, weekend Real Estate Sales Host / Greeter now available at Raymus Homes!We are looking for a part-time Sales Host / Greeter to assist our sales team on Saturdays and Sundays (and assigned weekdays). This position will be part-time and less than 30 hours per week.Compensation to start at $20/hour, depending on experience and status of Real Estate License.The exciting role of Sales Host is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the middle of all the action! This position requires a mover and shaker who can hit the ground running and take action without being told. Requires a friendly disposition, desire to help others, and a strong customer service background.This part-time role is great for someone looking to: explore a career in real estate, expand their knowledge of the new home sales process, add an additional income source / weekend side hustle, or gently enter / re-enter the workforce. As the Sales Host / Greeter, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential homebuyers and assist the Sales Team as we strive to create the best homebuying experience possible!Duties include, but are not limited to, the items listed below. Additional duties will be performed as necessary to accomplish the basic function.
- Open Model Homes and spec homes for prospects to tour.
- Warmly greet every prospect who visits the sales office.
- Hand out sales brochures and price sheets to prospects.
- Make small talk and engage prospects in conversation. Answer questions. Learn about them.
- Mark each group that visits the sales office on the Weekly Traffic Sheet.
- Assist each prospect in registering before their tour.
- Answer sales office phone if lead agent is unavailable to answer.
- Regularly check Model Complex and sales office for cleanliness (every 2-3 hours).
- Log-in and set-up visual displays on the sales office TV (i.e. site maps, movies, Powerpoint presentations, websites, etc.) as requested.
- Place sandwich signage around community per given layout. Ensure signage is the correct direction and pointing towards Model Complex. Retrieve all sandwich signage at the end of each day and store as directed.
- Monitor supply of cookies and water in sales office lobby. Bake cookies and replenish water bottles as needed. Notify lead agent is any supplies are running low.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be a people person - friendly, outgoing, curious, caring.
- Enjoy public speaking and talking to new people for the first time.
- Have great listening skills and be detail-oriented.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Tackle problems as they arise with creative solutions.
- Professional dresser and demeanor (no jeans allowed at any time).
- Great at multi-tasking.
- Takes initiative and anticipates what is needed before being asked.
- Strong customer service background.
- Real Estate experience/DRE license a plus, but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be willing to work every weekend - that's when the majority of people are out homeshopping!
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must have clean driving record / be able to be covered by Raymus Homes Auto Insurance Policy
