Job Description:

Professional and administrative work implementing the acquisition, disposition and leasing of County properties. Responsible for the efficient management, operation and high quality appearance of unimproved and unoccupied improved property, both owned and leased, in addition to all property where the County acts as the lessor or lessee throughout Palm Beach County. Reviews appraisals; performs due diligence reviews of environmental audits, title commitments and surveys. Prepares contracts in conjunction with the County Attorney's Office and agenda items for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Implements contract terms. Work is performed under the general direction of an administrative superior, and is reviewed through conferences, reports and observation of results achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or related field; minimum of three (3) years of title company experience, commercial real estate development including acquisition, disposition and leasing transactions OR technical due diligence review including title, survey, or appraisals. Equivalencies: Unrelated Bachelor's Degree/related Associate's Degree AND five (5) years of related experience OR graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification AND seven (7) years of related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Reviewing and analyzing commercial property appraisals, including making valuation recommendations. Also desirable: Five (5) years of experience in land development, disposition, acquisitions, leasing, property management, and due diligence review (must specify on application).

Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
