Real Estate Strategist for its Lease Advisory Team.The ideal
Real Estate Strategist will provide expert guidance to local and national tenants on commercial real estate acquisitions, lease obligations, and asset dispositions, and working through lease restructures for franchisors, franchisees, and portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial real estate leasing, underwriting and sales, and account/transaction management experience. Candidates with backgrounds working in commercial real estate retail is a significant plus. This position will be an integral member of the real estate advisory team with opportunities for growth and development.A day in the life of the successful Real Estate Strategist includes, but is not limited to:
- Reviewing commercial real estate lease documents and identifying ways to optimize values for both tenants and landlords
- Contributing to lease restructuring and negotiating processes through data management, analysis, and lease transaction support
- Conducting geographic market studies, client operational updates, and industry financial/real estate research to better handicap business landscape
- Actively engaging and negotiating documents between tenants and landlords
- Ad-hoc strategic and tactical projects to drive overall business growth
RequirementsThe ideal
Real Estate Strategist possesses the following characteristics or experiences:
- 5+ years of related commercial real estate experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective with time management and strong attention to detail
- A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
