Position Summary

Perform various duties to accurately check in regular and special merchandise and complete all required paperwork. Colleagues are expected to keep work area neat and organized, adhere to all DC housekeeping practices (Clean as you go, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned by Dept. Supervisor, Lead or Shift Manager. Reassignment to other departments occurs as needed.

Required Qualifications

Assist Capstone employees with unloading deliveries when appropriate. Inspect for damages. Accurately count the number of cartons/pallets of each item received. Accurately complete appropriate purchase order/worksheet for each item received. Total all quantities and complete general information (vendor name, freight bill number, quantity of pallets used, freight terms, completion time, etc.) on P.O. worksheet after all items have been received. Sign driver's freight bill noting overages, shortages, and damages as reflected on P.O. worksheet. Return signed delivery receipts to office. Assist driver in unloading when appropriate. Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating of on-line receiving prior to turning in to Receiving Clerical.

Basic Qualifications

Must be currently meeting or exceeding in all performance areas (productivity, quality, attendance, safety, teamwork) Must be able to work overtime as required to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule. Must have been in current position for 6 months or longer.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Detail oriented with above average math aptitude. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally. Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop on a continuous basis. Ability to frequently and repetitively lift up to 100 pounds. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be certified or have ability to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks. Able to work within a team and work independently with minimal supervision to complete assignments within established schedules and deadlines.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
