This is a Direct Hire, permanent position
Shift starts at 6 a.m.
Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.
* Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
* Records factors causing goods to be returned.
* Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
* Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
* Must be able to work overtime as business requires
Requirements:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
