Receiver/Production Associate Receiver/Production Associate Each day, SCS employees have the opportunity to work with a wide range of components and devices, wh Indianapolis , IN / Avon , IN / Lebanon , IN Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Performs the shipping and receiving function for the Coating Center. May assist fixturing and defixturing of product to be coated and will also refurbish coating fixtures as necessary. May assist in inventory duties and intial steps of the production process; including rinsing and drying of parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Receives, unpacks, stores, distributes, verifies, and signs for proper count and content of deliveries.

* Compiles and assigns job packet (customer process/runsheet/etc) to incoming product.

* Completes rejection reports for inadequately received goods.

* Processes shipping orders by weighing, packing, and labeling materials for shipment.

* Responsible for the proper packaging and paperwork of customer goods.

* Maintains proper levels of packing materials.

* Inspects incoming/outgoing product for count, condition, and conformance.

* Follows the designated processes, work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs) and other written and/or verbal instructions.

* Performs product preparation in accordance with Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs) and other written and/or verbal instructions.

* Complies with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements when appropriate.

* Performs fixturing/defixturing of parts and assemblies.

* Properly inspects, disassembles, cleans and/or refurbishes and reassembles coating fixtures.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* May perform rinsing/drying of customer production through the use of bath systems and ovens.

* May perform data entry and queries in the ERP systems and other databases.

* May perform fixturing/defixturing of parts and assemblies.

* May prepare air bills and arrange for shipment of overnight packages.

* May load/unload trucks manually or with powered lift.

* May assist with dimer packaging as time allows.

* May complete health and safety responsibilities, including MSDS management and hazardous waste oversight/shipment coordination.

* May be responsible for the proper packaging and paperwork preparation for Hazardous Material shipments.

* May inspect, disassemble, clean and/or refurbishe and reassemble coating fixtures

* May operate precision measuring instruments and record results.

* May perform basic masking/demasking and inspection tasks using methods and materials as specified in the designated process using small hand and power tools, microscope and /or other support equipment.

* Work independently under minimal supervision.

* Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

* Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies.
