They are seeking a Receiving and Inventory Management Specialist to join their team! Salary/Hourly Rate: $18 - $20/hr + benefits DOE Position Overview: As a Receiving and Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of incoming items, inventory tracking, and stock rotation at two sites: in Florham Park and/ or Berkeley Heights, NJ area. The Receiving and Inventory Management Specialist will work closely with various departments and clinics within Summit Health, ensuring that all necessary materials and prescription medications are readily available for our surgery centers, cancer center, and family clinics. Responsibilities of the Receiving and Inventory Management Specialist: Receive incoming items, check them for accuracy, and ensure that all items are properly accounted for Coordinate with the cold storage department to store refrigerated items safely Rotate inventory, maintain accurate records, and conduct regular stock checks Coordinate with clinics to monitor inventory levels and ensure that necessary materials are always available Work in collaboration with the purchasing department to source products and materials Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols Utilize Workday inventory management system to record, track, and update inventory data Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations Qualifications for the Receiving and Inventory Management Specialist: Proven experience in receiving and inventory management, plus in a healthcare setting Experience with inventory management systems and platforms is a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to handle items weighing between 5-40 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work early mornings (6am) and maintain flexibility in work hours as needed. Preference for candidates with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED is required Benefits: Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility.
