Overview ...:
The Receiving and Inventory Manager is responsible for leading a team to support our aftermarket sales and kitting of components for capital equipment builds. Manage the daily pick, pack and ship process from pick generation to customer shipment. Manage the pick generation and kitting process for our capital equipment builds. Responsible for leading a team of approximately seven team members, includes Receiver, Shipper, Pickers, and Team Lead.
The Opportunity ...:
This position is responsible for the supervision and support of all activities in the parts room:
- Oversee the receipt of all incoming parts (both internal and external) and ensure accuracy and quality.
- Resolve any receipt discrepancies with JBT Tipper Tie Purchasing.
- Oversee picking process and ensure order picking accuracy. Both external aftermarket sales and internal capital build kits.
- Develop and implement shipping standard work to ensure order and shipping accuracy.
- Maintains safe working environment by participating in safety walks, performing daily safety audits, and ensuring compliance with current JBT Tipper Tie PPE/safety policies.
- Provide consistent feedback to team members through individual one-on-ones and performance evaluations.
- Responsible for inventory controls and accuracy. Leads implementation of inventory best practices to improve inventory controls.
- Run daily exception reporting to identify issues and resolve.
- Addresses personnel issues directly and in a timely manner.
- Ensures all established ISO work instructions are followed. Participates in ISO audits as requested.
- Leads the yearly physical inventory counts and/or cycle counting as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or related field required.
- 5-years of experience working in a mid-volume pick, pack, ship operation.
- 3-years of experience in a supervisor or management role.
- Experience in process improvement, root cause corrective action (RCCA), and daily management preferred.

- Decision Making Skills: Effectively coordinates and manages areas of responsibility, in such a manner that maintains steady production and ensures customer orders are shipped on time.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicates across all channels throughout the organization and supports Tipper Ties RCI process and initiatives beyond departmental boundaries.
- Takes a leadership and change agent role in RCI. Enables culture change by using and teaching tools and disciplines and ensures they become a part of daily work and processes.
- Utilize RCI tools (6S, 8 Wastes etc.) and RCI House to incorporate into daily work and processes.
- Identify, recite, and explain the One JBT Vision. Identify and recite the four JBT Core Values and give examples. Identify areas for improvement and makes changes (small or large)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Building environment exposure to machinery, noise and other adverse conditions.
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for a minimum of 80% ofthe work day.
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory while working in the manufacturing area, including hearing protection, OSHA standard shoes and safety
- glasses.
