Category Shipping/Receiving Description The Receiver's duties are an important part of running a profitable store. All the product that is received in the store is recorded on the daily receiving report. The accuracy and attention to detail can assure proper inventory counts and reduced shrink. The manner and diligence of a Receiver can make a crucial difference in the way he or she controls shrink. • Assist in unloading all Unified and Jon's deliveries. • Check all incoming merchandise for shortages and overages unless the department employee checks in the merchandise by item. • Do not sign for product from Direct Vendors unless it is in-coded product and scanable to Jon's policies. • Keep receiving door and storage (inc. upstairs) areas locked t all times when unattended. • Complete all paperwork dealing with receiving and submit it to the Corporate Office DAILY, without fail.Position Requirements Basic knowledge of mathematics, product knowledge, and product location Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable proficiency Possesses basic math skills Reliable, good work ethic Clean presentable appearance Available in terms of scheduling of their hours Good customer service skills, friendly, out-going, helpful Jon's Marketplace is a drug free workplaceFull-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Position Receiving Clerk Close DateLocation Store #14 This position is currently accepting applications.
