Receiving ClerkPay range: $15 per hourShift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Unbox Your Potential: Join Our Team as a Receiving Clerk and Play a Pivotal Role in Ensuring Smooth Operations! Emerald Resource Group is currently assisting a top employer recruit for a Receiving Clerk in North Canton, OH. This is a successful technology manufacturing company who strongly believes in a workplace community based on helpfulness, integrity, unity, and loyalty. Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently, taking ownership of outgoing material and FedEx shipments.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of shipping office experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel (80% computer work).
  • Previous experience with RF scanning and computer system navigation.
  • Warehouse experience and administrative skills are advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Flexibility to work overtime on a daily basis, including most Saturdays.
Responsibilities: As a Receiving Clerk, you will be a vital link in our operations, ensuring materials are efficiently delivered to both internal and external customers. Your tasks will include:
  • Developing a daily dock plan based on outbound shipment requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely picking and staging of materials for outbound processing.
  • Verifying order completeness and ensuring materials are properly packaged for shipment.
  • Tracking picking progress to prevent delays and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) with accurate information for carriers.
  • Consolidating outbound products for economical yet safe shipment.
  • Adhering to dock safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with various internal departments and external partners.
  • Participating in process improvement projects as needed.
