Job Type Full-time Description The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Requirements Responsibilities:
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Confer or correspond with necessary individuals to rectify issues such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance specifications.
- Deliver or route materials to departments.
- Contact carriers to arrange pickups or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years receiving experience
- Experience in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Detail-oriented, consistent in performance and able to manage and keep track of multiple operational priorities to achieve and Improve on-time delivery.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Certified forklift driver, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
