Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.
About the Role: Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Receiving Department. Daily responsibilities to include, but are not limited to, data entry, processing and receiving documentation, maintaining accurate records and other receiving related activities.
Responsibilities Include:
* Scheduling and monitoring inbound deliveries
* Receiving BOLs from all delivery drivers, verifying that the quantities match the Receiving Document
* Creating and scanning receiving documents
* Checking and recording the quantity of the merchandise for conformity to purchase orders and specifications
* Logging and tracking all problems relating to receiving, contacting all parties involved to ensure each is aware of the problem
* Reconciling purchase orders
* Accurately inputting a high volume of data on various spreadsheets concerning incoming and outgoing freight in a timely manner
* Recording and reporting shortages and discrepancies
* Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e-mail to coordinate returns, rejections and credits
* Ensures friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
