PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and team-focused Receiving Clerk to join the Revision team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and maintaining a well-organized inventory system. This role requires strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of received goods, including quantities and condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Coordinate with supply chain and quality teams to resolve discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
- Report damaged or missing items and work with vendors to facilitate returns or replacements.
- Ensure all items are appropriately labeled and stored according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to unload deliveries.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Keep work areas clean and free of hazards, complying with safety standards at all times.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements - Current or previous forklift operator license strongly preferred. Revision will train and maintain certification.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Proven experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in material handling and inventory tasks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Syteline MRP experience a plus.
- U.S. Government authorization required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for majority of the shift.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
Work environment - This role involves working in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
