The Lead Receiving oversees the Receiving Department and all the corresponding personnel. Assists and develops direct reports to achieve desired results. The shift for this position is Monday - Friday starting at 6:00 am with the pay of $29.50 an hour. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations •Oversee the material receiving activities to ensure materials received are what was ordered, correct quantities, undamaged, etc. •Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of pickups/deliveries of waste material for recycling •Support the order manufacturing process by working extensively with all departments to ensure no stock outs. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: •Minimum of 1 year in material receiving/handling function required •Glass handling and/or glass knowledge preferred •Customer service experience required EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: •High School Diploma or GED required •Some college preferred •Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: •Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division •Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure. •Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS •Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. •Work surfaces are concrete and may stand while performing job functions, for up to 12 hours a day •Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors. •May be required to lift up to 50 lbs •Hand dexterity and strength. •Overtime may be required, including some weekends. •Ability to use a ladder WORK ENVIRONMENT: •Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions. •Hearing protection and safety glasses required, additional safety equipment provided based on specific job.
