This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for moving freight, stock, or other materials and keeping track of inventory.Job ResponsibilitiesMove freight, stock, or other material to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using industrial vehicles.Inspect all incoming trailers and containers and document any damage to trailers, containers, product, material or equipment being transported.Use computer inventory system to track and keep accurate inventory recordsMaintain a safe and accident free environment by adhering to safety standards and identifying safety issuesKeep work area cleanMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of educationMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to lift 40lbs.Internal candidates cannot have more than 3 ½ points in attendance or 1st written warning in last 3 months, 2nd written warning in last 6 months, final within the last yearPreferred QualificationsMust be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadershipForklift experience requiredNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
