Job Description:

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Receiving Supervisor. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you'll do:

The Receiving Supervisor will provide leadership and direction to the receiving team members. (leads, clerks, and material handlers) and coordinate activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within the job area to ensure the timely receipt and put away of quality parts that meet or exceed internal KPIs. In this role, you will establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Eaton's Values, Ethics and Philosophies.

* Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement

* Ensure department work areas are kept clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards.

* Manage operational process to track and understand key operational metrics and develop action plans to improve operational performance.

* Increase employee engagement and accountability to create a high performing culture.

* Provide input into the daily manning strategy and manage time and attendance (attendance, overtime, vacation, etc.) to ensure manning needs can be met.

* Drive continuous improvement programs and process improvements by applying the Eaton Business System and problem-solving tools.

* Lead tier 1 meetings and participate in tier 2 meetings and daily accountability tracking.

* Ensure employees have a solid understanding of individual goals/metrics and provide coaching as needed.

* Provide back up support for various roles in department as needed to ensure daily targets are achieved.

* Collaborate with divisional supply chain team members to reduce and resolve receipt/ASN errors and drive root cause analysis.

* Oversee inbound freight scheduling and ensure timeliness responses with carriers.

* Comply with all quality and inspection procedures by partnering with quality resources on reporting all suspect freight and damaged material upon receipt.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

* Minimum of three (3) years experience in a manufacturing, warehouse and/or distribution center environment

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

* No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Five (5) years experience in warehouse/distribution center environment

* Previous experience in receiving (clerk, team member, supervisor)

* Forklift certification
