How Youll Help Transform Healthcare: - - This position is located at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital - - 11 West Neuro/ Trauma Surgical Unit This 28 bed M/ S unit is the primary unit for Trauma/ Neurosurgery, Urology, and General surgery patients. The unit has a dedicated Neurosurgical ACP daily. They are the alternate unit for orthopaedic surgery, hospitalist and other medicine patients. This position is a FLEX position, working any day/any shift The Receptionist Clerk serves as the front line to receive and greet patients and visitors for the Nursing Unit. The Receptionist Clerk answers calls made to the nursing department and answers questions or forwards to appropriate area if unable to answer inquiry. Receive mail and distribute to appropriate personnel for processing. Assists nursing staff with data entry as needed. Responsible for fax machines, receiving faxes and keeping supplied with paper.
