Receptionist JOB SUMMARY:Performs clerical and office functions related to thesupport and operation of the business. Performs related office and clericalfunctions such as answering telephone, acting as receptionist, data entry, and recordkeeping.This is a basic clerical position which requires some initiative andindependent judgment. May be required to operate a variety of office equipmentincluding: postage machine, personal computer, copy machine, calculator,telephone etc.
- Answer and screen phone calls
- Greet visitors and direct them to theproper person or department
- Provide excellent customer servicecourteously and professionally
- Perform general clerical duties asdirected by supervisor, including but not limited to photocopying, documenttransmittal, mailing/shipping, and filing, with strong attention to detail
- Prepare deposits for manual and electronicpayments
- Following supervisor approval, aid otherteam members with various administrative tasks based on availability andpriorities
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, materials,etc., and coordinate ordering additional supplies as needed
- Travel to post office and bank as assigned
- Update the company phone, email, andcomputer list
- Manage all office equipment and utilitiesfor functionality
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in an office setting
- High school diploma
- Prefer some secondary education
- Must complete the full application and assessment
