As a Receptionist, you will be the face of the organization, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is a temp to potential perm and a fully on-site position.
Hourly pay rate: $27-31/hr
Salary: $65-70k
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive first impression by warmly welcoming and assisting visitors at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain the reception area's cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance to reflect the company's high standards.
- Oversee office supplies, mail handling, and the organization of adjacent rooms and spaces for optimal functionality.
- Screen incoming calls, handle inquiries, and efficiently transfer calls within the office, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Manage mail distribution, handle shipments, and track payments for accounts such as FedEx/UPS with precision and attention to detail.
- Coordinate meeting logistics within the office, including room reservations, catering arrangements, and technical setup.
- Collaborate with vendors, ensuring smooth interactions and timely resolution of any office-related matters.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling, performing clerical duties, and assisting with special projects.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of reception experience, preferably within the financial services industry, showcasing a strong understanding of professional office protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office technologies, with a tech-savvy approach to daily tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a friendly demeanor and professional etiquette.
- Detail-oriented with a professional work ethic, demonstrating reliability and a proactive attitude.
