Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Receptionist to join our Primary Care team!

Promotes a strong belief in Adapt Integrated Health Care's philosophy, purpose, and ideals. A front office receptionist is responsible for being the first point of contact for patients or visitors when they arrive at the clinic.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patients are made to feel welcome at SRCHC and keeping track of scheduling, rescheduling and cancelling of appointments for patients.

  • Answer the telephone within the clinic, relaying relevant messages to the appropriate staff/team and dealing with queries where necessary; reminder calls to patients as needed.

  • Sending and receiving faxes; ensuring faxes are dispersed to the correct location/person

  • Receiving and dispersing mail as needed; Mailing appropriate documents to patients

  • Processing medical records, taking requests for repeat prescriptions, assisting all visitors to the clinic, and keeping the reception area tidy.

  • Checking patient's eligibility for insurance as part of check in process.

  • Check in patients for their appointments gathering the necessary information for data collection, billing, UDS reporting, etc.

  • Collect co-pays and balances

  • Check out patients after their appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments as necessary

  • Assist in facilitating our patient satisfaction surveys.

  • Employee will ensure to follow HIPPA regulations; maintaining the strictest confidentiality

  • Promote a Culture of Safety; reporting hazards, errors and potential patient safety issues

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • EPIC and basic insurance knowledge a plus but not required.
