The Building People, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Retrocommissioning (RCx) Engineer. The RCx Engineer will lead our team to facilitate comprehensive RCx and retuning services to large federal buildings in New England (MA, CT, VT, RI, ME, NH). Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience - preferrable with a focus on mechanical systems and building automation technology. In addition to a strong preference for a candidate with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering, a qualified candidate will be familiar with work order management and fault detection platforms. The ideal candidates will be familiar with federal energy mandates and reporting as well. The position is structured to be primarily remote, with the ability to travel to sites in the New England area when site visits are required or meet with federal leadership.
