The Opportunity:The incumbent will perform responsibilities associated with the functions of document preparation, scanning, and visual comparison following operations and processes for customer applications in a production environment. The incumbent will perform the typical responsibilities associated with the functions of document capture operations in an efficient manner. Errors have the potential to cause delay, expense and/or disruption.

This is an office-based position with shift timings for this role from 2 pm - 10 pm. Due to the confidential nature of our business, cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed on the production floor during work hours. This policy is strictly enforced.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Document Preparation will consist of:Prepare documents according to customer specificationsRemove paper clips and staplesBurst multi-part forms into individual pagesTape small documentsRepair pages as necessaryMake copies requiredArrange and straighten papers for proper feeding through scannerMaintain document orderMust maintain established quota set for each project

Document Scanning will consist of:Will scan pre-prepped boxes of documents according to customer specifications on a high-speed scannerKeep correct records of batches scannedScan pages into batches for a pre-determined image countResponsible for correct document breaksResponsible for image quality and correcting poor imagesMaintain document orderResponsible for basic scanner maintenanceCommunicate any issues with the scanner or software to supervisorModerate computer skills required to operate scanning programsMust maintain established images per hour quota set for each project

Document Quality Assurance & Indexing will consist of:Verify image quality and readability after scanningKeep correct records of batches verifiedIf quality issue is detected, rescan corrected imageResponsible for removing document break patch papersResponsible for image qualityMaintain document orderKnowledge-based data entry including a decision-making process to determine, through investigation, that each individual field is populated with correct information retrieved from various sourcesMust maintain established images per hour quota set for each projectAble to type 40 wpmModerate computer skills required to operate document imaging programsOther duties as assigned by incumbent's supervisor

Education and Typical Years of Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Basic reading, writing, and math skills are necessary to follow written orders/instructions and to maintain records.

Special Requirements:Basic computer skills requiredExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityHigh attention to detailAbility to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performanceWorking quickly without compromising qualityPrioritization and time management skillsMust be able to lift 35 pounds - continuous requirement through shiftMust be able to work in a structured, fast-paced, production-mailroom environment
