PrideStaff is working with a Palm Beach County government agency looking to hire a detail-oriented Records Clerk. The role of Records Clerk is an administrative role that specializes in processing, maintaining filing and retrieving records for the department and maintenance of all records pertaining to court related activities. This work is reviewed for conformance with departmental policy and procedure, as well as applicable regulatory guidelines governing the work and records management.Some of the duties that will be performed by our chosen Records Clerk will include:
- Processes, updates and maintains all records, case files, and department documents.
- Proofs all records/documentation processed to ensure complete accuracy in all reports.
- Accepts, preserves and provides authorized access to all public reports and records.
- Prepares and processes records and documentation that may include, but is not limited to, official government and court documents.
- Performs various other processing tasks for the department, i.e., processing background information, etc.
- Enters report data and related information into computer.
- Prepares statistical reports and other documents as directed.
- May act in a reception capacity for the purpose of providing general information to employees, citizens and others seeking department related information and documentation.
Our ideal candidate will possess experience with principles and practices of records transcription, records maintenance and records storage. Considerable knowledge of case file management principles and practices. Ability to prepare complete and accurate reports, statements and related documentation from verbal and/or written sources. Ability to maintain records and assemble and organize data, and to generate reports from such records. Ability to perform data entry and keyboard tasks with speed and accuracy.
